Manila, Philippines - It was almost two weeks ago when one of the largest banks in the Philippines become viral over the internet because of the unexpected problems occurred inside the company. Many of the BPI savings and payroll account holders lost their money and eventually it was resolved. But now! there's a BPI checking account depositor filed his complaint and shared his experience on his social media account.

BPI Checking Account Depositor Complaint

Facebook account holder named, Rocky Gonzales, posted today, June 23, that his BPI Checking account was not showing correct deposited amount. He said that the money was deposited last Monday, June 19, and it was came from the other bank, BDO.

BPI Troubles Persist

Today, I filed a complaint/inquiry at Bpi Fort Serendra, Fort Bonifacio regarding a check I deposited there last Monday. A single check worth 82k was deposited into my account but only 74k was transferred to my account. The bank which issued the check, BDO Makati, reflected that 82k was deducted from the account. There is a missing 8k from the deposit. The amount maybe inconsequential to some but this represents a substantial loss in confidence and peace of mind.

What is wrong, #BPI? Your digital and technical problems persist. Is it time to end any and all manner of professional relationships with you? Or, should the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas check your system and evaluate your service and business practices?

I am upset with the hassle and consternation that you have been causing me these past few weeks.
