But take note! this payment systems of Facebook Messenger is only available in the U.S. over the coming months. There's no details yet when this new feature become available internationally. If this happened, many Facebook users local and abroad will be hooked into it because its free of charge or much cheaper from other remittance services.
According to the anti-fraud team of Facebook, "These payment systems are kept in a secured environment that is separate from other parts of the Facebook network and that receive additional monitoring and control." So the security is good and we will not be worrying against online fraud.
The news about this was first reported by TechCrunch back in October last year. According to them, "several sources that Facebook was doing intense internal testing of the feature."
You'll only know that this new feature is activated to your device when you see the “$” button in the Messenger message composer next to the options to send a photo or sticker.
We hope that Facebook will let all Filipinos to experience that kind of service. It's really a big help for all families who have relatives working abroad.
