The traditional ribbon cutting ceremony was done by him, together with SYKES Executive Vice-President for Global Strategy, Dan Hernandez, and the Senior Vice-President for APAC, Mike Henderson, and the Vice-President for Philippine Operations, Dean Van Ormer.

One of the highlights discussed on the opening of SYKES Asia Inc. in Glorietta 1, is their 16 years of continued growth and leadership in the country. The company opened their first operational call center in year 1997.
