Just because Samsung Galaxy S3, which is run by an Android OS, now have some sort of an application that can be said as similar to Apple's "SIRI", Apple has seek to ban the marketing of Samsung Galaxy S3 in United States. Apple wants to stop the sales of even a single unit of Samsung latest quad-core smartphone in the earlier mentioned state same as the motion they made to ban the Galaxy Nexus.
More about the motion made by Apple, there are two reasons why the company wants or seeks to ban Samsung Galaxy S3 in the US market and this is mentioned by a technology related site. This two reasons are as follows; one a unified search patent in regards to Siri, and the other a data-tapping patent that is also being used against HTC in a request for an immediate import ban of 29 infringing devices.
According to redmondpie site, "Apple isn’t too satisfied about some of the fairly blatant similarities between Samsung’s own proprietary S Voice interface and Siri, and this could cause some serious inconvenience for the people behind the roughly nine million or so rumored pre-orders of the Galaxy S III. "
However, Samsung made their strong respond to the motion made by Apple on Wednesday night saying,
"If Apple wishes to seek an injunction against the Galaxy S III, the Court should require Apple to file a new motion and allow the parties to develop a full factual record on all four factors. Accordingly, the Court should reject Apple’s motion to amend its current notice of motion for a preliminary injunction."
If ever Apple’s assumption of Samsung Galaxy S3 having a nine million pre-order, the said motion will not going to have any effect to the already pre-ordered devices 'cause for sure many customer will be disappointed if Apple's allegations will succeed.
