Samsung has launched its latest touchscreen phone called Samsung I9003 Galaxy SL. Samsung Galaxy SL runs on Android 2.2 Froyo which is similar to Samsung i9000 Galaxy S, but except to the processor and memory. Samsung SL Galaxy using TI OMAP 3630 clocked at 1 GHz processor with 16 GB of internal memory only, without the 8GB version. RAM used is also larger than Galaxy S 138MB.

Other features of this smartphone are the application Aldiko eBook reader, the contents of PC games and Google Android Market. In addition to Google Maps this phone is also equipped with a navigation screen of Tele Atlas, which functions to display POIs (points of interest) from somewhere.

Samsung Galaxy SL is a bit taller, thicker and heavier than its predecessor. The original Galaxy S has dimensions of 122.4 x 64.2 x 9.9 millimeters and weighs 119 grams. Galaxy SL, on the other hand, flaunts dimensions of 123.7 x 64.2 x 10.6 millimeters and 131 grams.
