Deal with smugglers in your home instead of imaginary drug lords, De Lima tells Duterte

In her statement, Leila De Lima said Pres. Duterte is using his administration’s drug war campaign to seek “vengeance against the political opposition.”

Monday October 30, Senator Leila de Lima said, "Mr. Duterte and his rabid attack dog SOJ (Secretary of Justice) Aguirre should stop going after their imagined and fictitious drug lords, whether Sen. Drilon, Sec. Roxas, Mayor Mabilog, or myself,"

"He should go after the real drug lords. In order to do this, Mr. Duterte does not even have to go that far. Apparently, the drug smugglers are living right inside his own household," she added.

This statement was made after Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II told that his department would treat the affidavit of drug suspect Ricky Serenio as a complaint.

Months ago, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV linked Duterte's son to the organized crime group. The allegedly tattoo of Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte links to a Chinese triad according to him.

But Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte has repeatedly denied the allegations about it.
