The Bureau of Customs Commissioner Nicanor Faeldon clarified the report about appointment of the popular leader of sexy girl group in the country. Comm. Nicanor Faeldon tweeted that he did not appoint Mocha Uson as BOC Social Media Consultant.

BOC Comm. Nicanor Faeldon denied appointment of Mocha Uson

After the ABS-CBN News report on Thursday, August 4, about the reportedly confirmed Uson's designation in the Bureau of Customs. Comm. Faeldon denied the report to Rappler and claimed he had been "misquoted."

Comm. Faeldon said, "She wanted to help us disseminate the information, anything that has to do with BOC. Mocha is a very active blogger so I also asked her to please help us disseminate our reform agenda through her blog."

"She advised also on how to improve our social media activities. But there is no official appointment. We invite everyone, you can also help us if you want. It's a voluntary act on her part," he added.

The official Twitter account of BOC also clarified the said issue.

Mocha Uson official fan page on Facebook has nearly 4 million people followers and she has over 96,000 followers on Twitter.

According to ABS-CBN News report, Mocha Uson will not be paid for her services and will not be appointed in an official capacity, Faeldon told to them via phone.

But later after posting the news, Customs bureau denies Faeldon's statement to ABS-CBN News.
