The good news is always surprising, like this news about 'Free Fast Internet Wi-Fi' that will be implemented in transport terminals nationwide. Partnering with Smart Communications, DOTC said on Tuesday, July 12, that the free wireless internet would be offered soon.

10-times faster Free Internet Wi-Fi to implement in transport terminals nationwide

According to The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) statement, one of the giant telecom company will provide free Wi-Fi in airports, seaports, train stations and bus terminals, under to a memorandum of understanding it signed with the government.

Not only that, the free wireless internet is said to be fast as in "10 times faster" than regular connections, "at par with international standards," according to the DOTC statement.

Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said, "We thank our partner, Smart, for supporting the government's thrust to make passengers' travel experience more comfortable, convenient and connected."

This is one of the promises where the 16th president of the Philippines told during his campaign period. President Rodrigo Duterte is very serious with his words when it comes to his promise for the country.
