The popular social media lawyer and former Super Sireyna champion spoke up from the issue where the Kapamilya Network was involved. Atty. Bruce Rivera shared his thoughts when singer/actress Lea Salonga castigating the poor investigative work by ABS-CBN News while running a story about Duterte.
Lea reacted on the viral post made by Ms. CY Dino Seguerra and said, "Politics or not, this is stupid. Thank goodness Sheila spoke up immediately. What is wrong with these people???"
Atty. Rivera was very happy from what Lea's did when the said story came out and reported on ABS-CBN News.
He said, "I deeply thank Lea Salonga for having the balls to speak up against ABS-CBN despite being one of its talents. Others would just keep quiet because after elections, most of them will be at their mercy to be booked for jobs."

I deeply thank Lea Salonga for having the balls to speak up against ABS-CBN despite being one of its talents. Others would just keep quiet because after elections, most of them will be at their mercy to be booked for jobs.
But that is the reason why Kapamilya and Kapuso flourish and be in the position it is today as saboteurs of democracy. We call their attention but we do not make them accountable. So, they just accept it and move on. Anyway, the nation still watches us and we still earn the income to be the jerks that we are. We can hire principled people and pay them enough cash so they have no choice but to read the garbage we tell them to read. And the talents cannot say no. Do it or lose livelihood.
It is not crappy investigative work. That I can forgive because it a product of indolence, stupidity and an inefficient HR. But this is malicious misinformation intended not to report news but to destroy and sabotage the electoral process. It is NO longer service to the Filipino people.
When you watch them and patronize their shows, you give them power. Let us remove that power and level the playing field. Let us create a system that it will be the network who will go after journalistic integrity and not the other way around. And if they cannot do that, then we should allow others to enter the arena who can offer that.
People think that if you are on TV, you are already something big. That preoccupation with fame has enabled this network to feed on our credulity and manipulate our choices. This has to stop.
If you do not watch, the ratings go down. If ratings are down, there is no income. And if they replace it with a new show and it is still the same shit in a different wrapper then still do not watch it. That is the only way we can exact accountability from them.
Again, do not watch. It is not worth your peace of mind.
