Robin Padilla is one of the million supporters of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte as his presidential bet for 2016 polls. The actor used his official facebook account to share his thoughts about the federal form of government.
Since Davao Mayor Duterte wants a federal form of government, veteran actor took his facebook wall and explain why we need to support the federalism.

Robin said, "Ang Sinomang pinuno ng mga katutubong Pilipino ang hindi sumuporta sa Federalism ay maaaring lumalangoy sa kayamanan ng kanyang lahi na sinasarili at sa kapangyarihan ng dapat ay sa pangkalahatan,"
"Kung hindi naman marahil isa siyang MangMang na dapat ay bumalik sa paaralan at pag aralan ang mayaman niyang kultura, tradisyon at kasaysayan. Sinomang Rebolusyonaryo o Rebelde ang tumalikod sa Federalismo ay nagpapanggap lamang, ang kaniyang adhikain ay Peke at ang kanyang grupo ay Gangsterismo-- Kataastaasang Kagalanggalang Katipunan," he added.
According to Wikipedia, "Federalism is a political concept describing the practice whereby a group of members are bound together by agreement or covenant (Latin: foedus, covenant) with a governing representative head. It refers to a system of government in which sovereignty is constitutionally shared between a central governing authority and constituent political units (such as states or provinces)."
The 46-year old actor has further explained his thoughts and give reference on his comment and said, "Upang hindi maligaw basahin Ang kasaysayan ng Inangbayan Bago dumating ang mga kastila. May isinulat si dr rizal patungkol dito at malinaw kung ano tayo bilang isang bansa na pinaghati hati ng mga progresibong mga kaharian na may international relation sa mga malalaking empire sa Asia. Mismong si dr rizal ay hindi naniniwala sa kakayahan ng mga Multi cultural na mga burgis at elitistang pilipino kayat ang kanyang advocacy ay autonomy o maging federal katulad ng nakita niya sa mga kaharian sa España. Marahil ay pag aralan muna ng mga matatalino ang kanilang pinagmulan lalo ang mga aral na logic ni dr rizal para hindi kayo naliligaw sa paniniwala sa sistemang minana sa Mga Dayuhan"
He followed with this message, "Geographically and culturally the Philippines must adapt a federal form of government."
