After his decision to run for a Presidential position in 2016 polls, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte garnered many supporters in local and abroad. Aside from that, he lead the privately commissioned survey by Pulse Asia as presidential preference in Metro Manila.

The 34% percent of the Pulse Asia survey respondents said that they would give their trust to Rodrigo Duterte if the elections will be held at the survey dates, it was held from November 11 to 12, 2015.

At the same year, last September survey results, the 27% percent respondents would like to vote the Davao City Mayor Duterte, according to Pulse Asia.

But that time, independent presidential candidate Senator Grace Poe lead the Pulse survey with a 31% percent respondents vote. Now, Poe become second placer with a score of 26% percent.

Pulse Asia has 300 Metro Manila respondents who participated in the November survey. They showed the list of all candidates  for president and asked if the elections were held today who would they vote.

Meanwhile, on Vice President candidate survey, Senator Francis Escudero is the top choice for the November Pulse Asia survey. Followed by Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos and Cayetano on the third spot.
