The Malacañang Palace declared the 18th and 19th day of the month of November 2015 as SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAYS in Metro Manila due to the important event of the country.

No Classes, No Work on November 18 & 19, 2015 (APEC 2015)

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) was held in the Philippines which will be attended by twenty-one (21) world leaders of the Asia-Pacific.

Under the signed PROCLAMATION NO. 1072, "Declaring 18th and 19th of NOVEMBER 2015 as SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) Days in the NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION (NCR)," authorized by President BENIGNO S. AQUINO III.

The Philippines will be hosting the APEC for the second time with this year theme of “Building Inclusive Economies, Building a Better World.” The first event was hosted in 1996.
