The celebration of Eid’l Fitr was set on Friday, July 17, of this year. Palace signed and declared the said day as a regular holiday throughout the Philippines.

July 17, Friday declared as Regular Holiday | Eid’l Fitr

President Benigno Aquino III declared the day as regular holiday as observance of Eid’l Fitr a.k.a the Feast of Ramadhan.

All Filipinos are encourage to participate or join to our Muslim brothers and sisters in their peace and harmony in the celebration of Eid’l Fitr.

Under Proclamation No. 1070, s. 2015, "Republic Act No. 9177 declared Eid’l Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan) as a regular holiday throughout the country."

According to Proclamation No. 1070, "Eid’l Fitr is celebrated by the Muslim world for three (3) days after the end of the month of fasting."
