This is not an early April fools day and PAGASA has no time for that. The international typhoon Maysak is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility this Wednesday, April 1.

PAGASA said on the 11 a.m. advisory today, Typhoon Maysak was spotted at 2,240 km east of Mindanao. But nothing worry now due to Maysak is still too far to affect any land in the country.

Typhoon Maysak will be codenamed as "Chedeng" if ever the storm enter the PAR and maintain its strength. It packed maximum sustained winds of 140 kph near its center and gustiness of up to 170 kph.
