While the Tropical Depression (Betty) enters PAR or Philippines Area of Resposibility, it slightly weakens as it traverse over the Philippine Sea. Bagyong Betty is expected to weaken into a Low Pressure Area (LPA) within the next 24 hours.

Bagyong Betty Wednesday Update (March 18)

As of 4:00 pm this afternoon it's at 1,045 km East of Casiguran, Aurora and it has a maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center. The expected forecast it will move West at 17 kph.

There's no public storm signal as of this moment. Bagyong Betty, however, has an estimated rainfall amount is from 2.5 – 7.5 mm per hour (light - moderate) within the 300 km diameter. The Philippines will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
