State weather agency advisory as of 11 AM today, that the local pressure area (LPA) spotted at east of Mindanao may enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) on Sunday, February 15.

PAGASA: LPA Update for February 13, Friday

PAGASA said on radio interview today that the potential cyclone may enter PAR and still moving from east of Mindanao.

Forecaster Samuel Duran said, "May tiyansa pong pumasok (ng PAR) by Sunday," according to ABS-CBN News.

The tail-end of a cold front is currently affecting the eastern section of Luzon, PAGASA said.

In addition to this report, the regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Bicol region and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms. While Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have isolated rains or thunderstorms.
