Chicago Bulls forward, Pau Gasol, renewed calling for support and donations for the Yolanda victims in Tacloban. In a video posted below, NBA player, Gasol congratulated our country (Philippines), UNICEF and many other organizations for helping our Kababayan's who survive from the disaster brought by Super Typhoon "Yolanda" last November 2013.

As what Gasol mentioned in the video, "The work is far from complete," that is why he still seeks for more help from all the people who can hear him.

This are surprising word's came out from a person who is not born here in the Philippines. Surprising to hear someone as famous as he is, is asking for help from people all over the world for continues help for our countrymen.

Gasol said, "I'm happy for being one of the thousands of people that have supported this great work (but) the work is far from complete," and added, "Yolanda devastated homes, infrastructure, and life. After a disaster of such rate, recovery and reconstruction for millions of people are not possible within a few months or even a year."

What struck me most is this statement Gasol said, "It needs long term commitment… We still need your support for the children of the Philippines."

Great to know that there are people as you are who continues to help our Kababayan's here in the Philippines. Two thumbs up for you.
