Riyadh - The 2 Good Filipino nurses was honoured by the Buraidah Central Hospital director Ahmad Abdullah Al-Omar in Qassim by giving them plaques of appreciation during a fitting ceremony for their good service.

The Pinay nurses received a warm send-off from their colleagues for their dedicated service to Saudis and foreigners alike at the 315-bed medical facility, according to Arab News.

After 35 years, the two nurses will finally get back to their respective hometown. Ms. Elercy Cruz was from Bangui town in the Pangasinan province and Zenaida Lescano was from Orani, Bataan northwest of Manila.

According to BCH assistant nursing director Edna S. Jampil, Cruz and Lescano were not only good colleagues, but also personal friends, as reported by the news site.

Jampil said, "While we miss them, we have their good memories to remember them. They indeed showed how good and noble the nursing profession could be."
