The former PBB housemate and EB co-host Valerie Weigmann won as Miss World Philippines 2014 and she bags the 12 special awards from the pageant. Valerie Weigmann will be representing the Philippines for the coming Miss World 2014 this December.
The 24 years old, representing Camarines, Albay province answered the Q&A: Why should you win Miss World Philippines? She said, "I believe in empathy and compassion. We can all be advocate of change."
She will bring home the cash prizes worth of P1 million and the crown as Miss World Philippines 2014. Weigmann bested the twenty-six candidates and received the eleven special awards such as: Best in Swimsuit, Best in Fsahion Runway, Best in Long Gown, Miss Solaire, Miss Figlia, Miss Reducin, Miss Bench, Miss OLAY, Miss HANA, Miss Bluewater Day Spa, Miss Camarines Sur, and Jesi Mendez Salon Ambassador.
The 1st Runner-up is Candidate No.1 Lorraine Kendrickson and won the Best in Sports award, then followed by Nelda Ibe who also the Miss Photogenic and Miss Organique, Nicole Donesa and the 4th Runner-up is Rachel Louise Peters.
