The Irish Band U2 announced that they're releases for the first time a new album for FREE! during the big event of Apple at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, California.

U2 releases new album for free in Apple Big Event 2014

Apple special event was held on Tuesday, September 9, as the CEO Tim Cook announced the two new iPhone model together with the smartwatch.

Along with these announcement, Apple also surprise their iTunes users with the eleven tracks new album of U2 for free. 

During the event, U2 band frontman Bono joined on stage with Apple CEO Tim Cook as they countdown the releasing of U2 album on iTunes.

Bono said, "From the very beginning, U2 have always wanted our music to reach as many people as possible, the clue is in our name I suppose – so today is kind of mind-blowing to us"

According to Rappler, Apple revealed their first ever smartwatch called 'Apple Watch' together with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. And the Songs of Innocence album will be provide for free to clients who set up iTunes accounts in the next 5-weeks.
