Straight from the office of the Philippine Football Federation, Nonong Araneta, PFF President was formally introduced the 52-year-old German-American Thomas Dooley as the new head coach of Azkals.
Araneta said, "I would like to introduce our new coach, Thomas Dooley."
He replaced Michael Weiss, the 48-year-old former coach of the national football team and the one who help Azkals to be in 127 FIFA rankings.
Thomas Dooley will start his coaching career in Azkals this coming March, as the football team are set to play friendlies against Malaysia and Azerbaijan, ahead of the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup.
According to GMA News, Dooley is a former assistant for the US men’s national football team under Jurgen Klinsmann.
