According to the president of Good Shepherd Health Systems, "Nurses are protectors by nature. And Gail, she fit that profile," said Steve Altmiller.
Texas Police arrested the 22-year-old man who stabbed and attacked Gail and other people inside the hospital.
Report findings that there are 4 other people were also injured.
Altmiller said, “All of the victims were taken to the emergency center for assessment and treatment.”
Police investigation are still on process to determine the motive of the attacker.
