State weather forecaster announces that the low-pressure area (LPA) in Luzon is now developed in to a tropical depression. PAGASA used the codename 'Odette,' Monday afternoon, September 16, 2013.

According to PAGASA's bulletin as of 4 pm, today, "the center of Tropical Depression "ODETTE" was estimated based on all available data at 930 km East of Casiguran, Aurora, with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 7 kph. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern luzon and Visayas. "

While the rainfall advisory as of 3:30 pm, "Light to moderate rainfall was observed over #Cavite, #Laguna, #Rizal and #OccidentalMindoro for the past 2 hours. With this development, all Rainfall Advisory over these areas are now TERMINATED. "

PAGASA did not raised yet any storm warning signal because Tropical Depression "ODETTE" is still far from any Philippine landmass.
