PAGASA placed public storm warning signal no. 3 in eight provinces in Luzon area. Typhoon Labuyo was estimated in the vicinity of Baguio City, as of 9 am today, August 12, 2013.

PAGASA weather bulletin posted as of 11 am today, "Typhoon "LABUYO" has weakened while crossing Northern Luzon and will exit Philippine landmass early this afternoon."

Storm signal no. 3 in the following areas such as, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Ilocos Sur, Benguet, La Union and Pangasinan.

While signal no. 2 in Isabela, Aurora, Southern Cagayan, Kalinga, Abra, Southern Ilocos Norte, Zambales, Tarlac and Nueva Ecija.

And storm signal no. 1 in Metro Manila, Rest of Cagayan, Apayao, Rest of Ilocos Norte, Babuyan Group, Calayan Group, Pampanga, Bulacan, Bataan, Rizal,
Northern Quezon and Polillo Island.

PAGASA alerted residents in low lying and mountainous areas under signal #3,#2 & #1 against possible flashfloods and landslides. Likewise, those living in coastal areas under signal #3 and #2 are alerted against storm surges.

Typhoon "LABUYO" will bring moderate to occasionally heavy rains over Southern Luzon and Western Visayas because of the Southwest Monsoon.
