State weather bureau confirmed that low-pressure area is now inside of the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) and may affect the area of eastern Visayas. PAGASA estimated LPA at 630 km East of Davao City as of 5 am today.

PAGASA gale warning stated that the surge of Southwest Monsoon is expected to affect the northern seaboard of Northern Luzon and the western seaboards of Northern and Central Luzon.

According to the updated 24-hour weather forecast over DAVAO ORIENTAL and COMPOSTELA VALLEY, it will be cloudy with light to moderate rains
and thunderstorms today.

And for the Southern Tagalog region and the rest of Visayas can expect light to moderate rain and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may have a partly cloudy to cloudy Saturday,
