The weather bulletin for today as of 11 am, August 19, PAGASA said that Tropical Storm " MARING " has maintained its strength and remained almost stationary for the past six hours.

The rainfall advisory issued as of 9:15 am, "Heavy to intense rainfall is affecting Metro Manila (CAMANAVA, Manila, Pasay, Las Pinas and Muntinlupa)"

PAGASA estimated rainfall amount is from 10 - 25 mm per hour (heavy - intense) within the 300 km diameter of the Tropical Storm Maring.

PAGASA added that Tropical storm "MARING" will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms over Luzon particularly over the Western section.

PAGASA advised fishing boats and other small seacrafts not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves.
