PAGASA warned the public in the Eastern Visayas and Caraga in Mindanao against moderate to heavy rain.

If the LPA becomes a cyclone, it will be codenamed "Nando"

PAGASA forecaster Joey Figuracion said, "North-northwest ang kanyang pagkilos, bahagyang umakyat nang kaunti."

PAGASA added that the LPA was embedded along the monsoon trough affecting southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
