Hurricane Henriette strengthens into category 1 hurricane, the strongest storm of the year. Henriette is moving to westward through the central Pacific Ocean, as winds reached 90 m.p.h. by Tuesday afternoon.
According to National Hurricane Center (NHC), The five-day forecast track for Hurricane Henriette shows it moving toward Hawaii but weakening, and possibly heading south of the islands, as of 2 p.m. PDT (5 p.m. EDT) Tuesday.
Weather.com said, "Henriette is expected to track toward the west-northwest, then turn west and west-southwest later this week. "
NHC expected hurricane 'Henriette' to weaken by Thursday, as it moves across the Pacific, far from land.
