Bagyong Nando is moving away from the Philippine Area of responsibility (PAR), but there is another low-pressure area estimated at East of Extreme Northern Luzon, according to state weather report as of August 29, 2013.
PAGASA weather bulletin as of 5 am today, "Tropical Storm "NANDO" was estimated based on all available data at 310 km North Northeast of Basco, Batanes. Meanwhile, another Low Pressure (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 1300 km East of Extreme Northern Luzon."
PAGASA said that the rainfall amount today is from 10 - 25 mm per hour (heavy - intense) within the 500 km diameter of the Tropical Storm.
All Public Storm Warning Signals are now lifted.
But still, Bagyong "NANDO" will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) which will bring moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms over Calayan, Babuyan and Batanes group of Islands which may trigger possible flashfloods and landslides becoming light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms over the rest of Northern Luzon.
