State weather forecast today, July 30, Tuesday, low pressure area (LPA) was estimated at 230 km West of Ambulong, Batangas and become Tropical Depression. The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) still affecting the entire archipelago, according to PAGASA report.

PAGASA weather bulletin as of 4:00 p.m., today, "The Low Pressure Area (LPA) West of Ambulong, Batangas has developed into a Tropical Depression (14.1°N, 117.8°E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 11 kph."

PAGASA also report that the light to moderate winds will prevail over the rest of Luzon. And moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

Tropical Depression was named "JOLINA," and the estimated rainfall amount is from 5 - 15 mm per hour (moderate - heavy) within the 300 km diameter.
