PRC and the Board of Optometry announced that the July 2013 Optometrists Licensure Board Exam was postponed. Optometrists Board Exam will be held in the city of Manila.
PRC stated under Resolution No. 766 dated June 17, 2013 that "the need to postpone the exams due to vacancies in the Board of Optometry rendering the board short for the requirement for a quorum to validly transact official business including the formulation and extraction of test questions, examination proper and releasing of results."
The exam was re-set to SEPTEMBER 19-20 (Written) and OCTOBER 1-4 (Practical) in which originally scheduled on July 9-11 (Written) and 16-19 (Practical) this year.
