For all you know, liquor ban originally scheduled from May 12 to 13 only, but Comelec wants to extend it as Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino's requested.

As what reported by Rappler site, Supreme Court (SC) issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) to stop the Liquor Ban Extension, from  May 9 to 11, 2013.

Because of the petition filed by liquor companies Food and Beverage Inc., and International Wines and Spirit Association Inc., SC released the TRO for Comelec Liquor Ban Extension.

According to SC, Comelec need to answer the petition up to May 9 at 5 p.m.
