The Light Rail Transit (LRT) 1 and 2 and Metro Rail Transit (MRT 3) released their Holy Week Operation schedule for public notice. Holy Week non-working days will be started this coming March 28 until March 31, 2013.

LRT and MRT Holy Week 2013 Schedule

LRTA Spokesperson Hernando Cabrera said, "Sarado po ang LRT1&2 sa darating na 28 March hanggang 31 March 2013. Last trains mula sa lahat ng end stations sa 27 March 2013 ay 8:00 PM."   

DOTC said on their official twitter account, "There will be no MRT operations as well from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday. Regular operating schedule to resume on April 1."

To those who didn't know, LRT 1 runs from Baclaran in Pasay City to Roosevelt in Quezon City while LRT 2 stretches from Recto in Manila to Santolan in Pasig City.

And MRT 3 runs along EDSA from North Avenue in Quezon City to Taft Avenue.

LRT 1 and LRT 2 will resume its operations on April 1 at 5 a.m.

And MRT 3 start operations on April 1 morning.
