Typhoon Pablo Update December 4, 2012

PAGASA earlier said that Metro Manila will start experiencing the rains brought by Typhoon Pablo (international codename "Bopha") this coming Thursday, December 6, 2012. Typhoon "PABLO" is now moving across the province of Bukidnon.

PAGASA administrator Nathaniel Servando said in an interview with dzMM, "Kapag ito ay malapit na o nasa vicinity ng northern part ng Palawan, ang outer circulation nito ay magbibigay ng pag-ulan - mahina hanggang katamtaman na ulan Huwebes ng umaga."

PAGASA weather bulletin issued at 11:00 a.m, "Typhoon "PABLO" has slightly weakened after making a landfall and is now traversing the province of Bukidnon."

Typhoon Pablo previous wind strength of 175 kilometers per hour, now packing maximum sustained winds of 160 kph near the center and gusts of up to 195 kph.

PAGASA raised public signal warning in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Visayas: Northern Palawan, Calamian Grp. Of Islands, Cuyo Islands
Mindanao: Surigao del Norte, Siargao, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Province, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Davao del Norte, Samal Island, Compostela Valley, Davao Oriental, North Cotabato, Zamboanga del Sur, Zamboanga Sibugay, Maguindanao

Visayas: Aklan, Capiz, Leyte, Biliran
Mindanao: Davao del Sur, Sultan Kudarat, Basilan, Sarangani, South Cotabato

Meanwhile, PAGASA advised fishing boats and other sea vessels not to venture out into the Seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao.
