Philippine weather bureau said that aside from Mindanao and Visayas, Metro Manila and other areas in southern Tagalog will be affected by typhoon Bopha (Bagyong Pablo). Once the typhoon Bopha enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) today it will be renamed as Bagyong "Pablo."

PAGASA weather division chief Robert Sawi said," Typhoon Bopha will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) later today, Once it does, it will be renamed Pablo."

PAGASA weather bulletin issued at 11 p.m. said, "Typhoon "PABLO" is still far to directly affect any part of the country. The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions."

Meanwhile, According to Dr. Nathaniel Servando, PAGASA administrator said “Pablo” will be the 16th typhoon to enter the PAR this year.
