University of the Philippines – Los Banos 19-year old 3rd year agriculture student named Maria Victoria Reyes was robbed and stabbed dead inside her house in a subdivision in San Vicente village, Biñan City, Laguna on Monday, November 19, 2012.
According to Binan City PNP Police C/Insp. Arnold Formento that they discovered the crime around 12:00 nn. It happened when Maria Victoria's father came knocking to their house and none allegedly answering, so he decide to enter and he saw his daughter as bloody with multiple stab wounds. She was announced dead by doctors upon arrival at the University of Perpetual Help hospital.
PNP Police said that the motive of killing could be robbery, referring to several items were missing from the house. The missing items are mobile phone, laptop, camera and undetermined amount of cash.
The victim remains are to be autopsied to investigate if she was sexually assaulted.

Suspect named Benigno Nayle Jr. has surrendered to the Tanauan City Police in Batangas. He was brought to the Laguna Prosecutor's Office for inquest proceedings.
