This is a good riddance for our very own Philippine Football team, Azkals, for in the newly released FIFA ranking the latter team rank up by 143rd place in the world and second in the South East Asia countries.

The 143rd rank of Azkals today is the highest ranking that the Philippine men's football team has ever gain since FIFA rankings started.

What lifted Azkals rank is the recent game match between the team from Bahrain where they were scored draw in the end. Dan Palami really did made a good management in the team since he took over the managing two years ago. The team continuesly move up which is a good sign that they are now immensely in a good shape.

Now, Azkals is on the second place among the South east Asian countries, above rival Thailand who's rank dropped down to 146th after not playing last October. However, Vietnam who sits at 138th still holds the 1st place in South east Asian rankings.

Last month, the team went for a series of training in Middle East which they fought against Bahrain and Kuwait. Their game match with Bahrain scored draw, while they loss to Kuwait by 2 - 1 (w-l) score.

The training is just one of the preparation made the team for the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup which will be held in Bangkok starting November 24. But the training won't just stop there, 'caused they're now bound to have another training match next week in Cebu before their flight for a Suzuki Cup match between Singaporeans this coming November 15.
