PAGASA weather bulletin as of 5:00 a.m. posted, "Tropical Storm "MARCE" was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 300 km West of Iba, Zambales (15.1°N, 116.8°E) with maximum winds of 95 kph near the center center and gustiness of up to 120 kph. It is forecast to move West at 5 kph."
PAGASA raised storm warning signal number 1 (30-60 kph winds) is up over Bataan and Zambales.
Tropical storm MARCE enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will continue to bring occasional moderate to heavy rains over MIMAROPA, CALABARZON and Visayas.
Meanwhile, weather agency advised fishing boats and other small seacrafts not to venture out into the Western seaboard of Luzon due to big waves.
