Typhoon Julian (international codenamed Bolaven) is now out in the Philippine territory and continue moving forward to Southern Japan. Julian was estimated at 850 km northeast of Basco, Batanes and moving  away at 15 kph, as of 4 a.m PAGASA advisory.

This Sunday afternoon, 'Typhoon Julian' is expected to be 830 km north-northeast of Basco, Batanes, PAGASA said in its 5 a.m. advisory.

However, typhoon Julian may still enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring light to moderate rains over the western section of the country.

PAGASA said in its 5 a.m. bulletin. "Luzon and Western Visayas wiill experience mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rain over the western section of Luzon."

Meanwhile, PAGASA advised small fishing boats and other seacrafts not to venture out into the sea while larger sea vessels are alerted against big waves.
