According to PAGASA's weather update today, August 25, 2012, a certain 'Fujiwara effect' may took effect if two weather disturbances will merge in one place or country. However, state bureau director said that it's not unlikely to happen 'cause Tropical Cyclone 'Julian' is keeping it's movement out of our Philippines Area of Responsibility.
Director Nathaniel Servando of PAGASA said, “Hindi natin inaasahan na magsasanib pwersa ang dalawa,” and added, “Sa case ni Julian at Igme, hindi natin nakikita na maglalapit yung dalawa at magsasanib dahil itong bagyong Julian nakikita nating tuloy-tuloy na papalabas ng PAR patungong Okinawa , Japan hanggang ito ay tuluyang lalayo patungong Korea.”
Because of the effect of Julian, Tropical Cyclone Igme's movement may vary, PAGASA even said that it may U-turn back to Taiwan.
As of 5 a.m. this morning on PAGASA's weather bulletin, Igme is at west northwest direction, packing a maximum sustained winds of 100 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kph as it moves weakly towards west northwest direction, while Julian is spotted at 970 kms east northeast of Basco, Batanes containing a maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 and moving northwestward direction.
One thing I can say is, let's just keep praying so this two cyclones won't merge and fades away any time now. God bless you guys. God Bless Philippines.
