Department of Education (DepEd) announced the nationwide assessment for students who currently studying as 3rd and 4th year high school of public and private schools to take the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) on Wednesday, August 29, 2012.

This national career assessment examination helps the student to choose what kind of course in college that they will take when they graduated in high school.

NCAE used paper and pencil material and the test exam is in multiple choices format, all answer sheets are checked electronically through scannable machine.

Junior and Senior high school students ability to passed general scholastic aptitude (GSA), technical vocational aptitude (TVA), entrepreneurial skills, nonverbal ability and occupational interest is what NCAE measures. For the components, it is written below as follows;

Reading Comprehension
Mathematical Ability
Scientific Ability
Verbal Ability    
Non-Verbal Ability
Manipulative Skills
Clerical Ability
Entrepreneurial skills

The 2012 NCAE results will be posted here once the official results given, usually it takes 3-4 months after the exam.

For the meantime, if you're one of the students who will take the 2012 NCAE, don't be afraid because its for your future and it will help you to decide the course that really fits you when the time you enter college.
