Department of Education (DepEd) announced the class suspensions in all levels in some area of Batangas such as Balayan and Sta. Teresita. While some LGU's also declared suspension of classes due to floods and heavy rains this Wednesday early morning.
According to a report on Unang Hirit that classes in San Fernando, La Union were also suspended for all levels in public and private schools. The same with Benguet, classes were also suspended for all levels in both public and private schools.
Unang Hirit also announced the suspension of classes on the following schools in Taytay, Rizal;
Sto. Tomas
San Luis
Guagua
Porac
Sasmuan
Floridablanca
Minalin (some barangays)
Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University (Bacolor and Porac campuses)
Masantol (up to Friday)
Meanwhile, DepEd retweeted the guidelines for the automatic suspensions of classes if theres a storm.
DepEd said, "No classes in Kindergarten for areas under Signal No. 1; No classes Kindergarten to high school for areas under Signal No. 2."
