DOST-PAGASA changed the color code into 'Orange Warning,' posted as of 7:55 a.m. Thursday. And we will experience the moderate to heavy (6.0-15.0 mm/hr) rains over Northern portion of Quezon City, Valenzuela, Malabon, Navotas while heavy to intense(15.0-30.0 mm/hr) over North Caloocan, as of 9:00 a.m. advisory.

And light to moderate (2.5-7.0 mm/hr) rains over Manila & Marikina.

PAGASA said, "The rainfall warning levels are now YELLOW (awareness), ORANGE (preparedness) and RED (emergency)."

PAGASA added that the series of thunderstorms brought by southwest monsoon will still bring light to moderate rains (2 to 8 mm/hr) over CaMaNaVa, Quezon City and Marikina in the next 2 hours.

Meanwhhile, residents in flood/landslides risk areas are advised to take precautionary measures and monitor the situation in their surroundings, PAGASA said.

Update: as of 11:36 a.m.

"PAGASA downgraded to Yellow Warning signal over the northern portion of Metro Manila."

PAGASA said, "The Southwest Monsoon (HABAGAT) has weakened slightly as Tropical Cyclone "HAIKUI" outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility has moved farther away."
