Starting yesterday until today, August 9, 2012, the water supply of Maynilad Water Services Inc. in most part of Metro Manila areas have reported of water discoloration. That's why, Maynilad cut water supply from 2.1 billion liters a day into 1.7 billion liters a day. It might because of heavy rains in the last three days that caused floods.

As a result, all parts of Quirino-Roosevelt, parts of South Caloocan, parts of Malabon and parts of Navotas are now experiencing low water pressure or no water supply at all.

To those people who getting water discoloration, Maynilad advised them to boil or strain the water before drinking it, and the water is safe to use for washing purposes.

Water discoloration also reported in the areas of  North Caloocan, Fairview, Commonwealth, Novaliches and Valenzuela.

According to Maynilad, they can't exactly announced when water volume will normalize in the above mentioned areas.

6.    Manila (portions)
7.    Makati (portions)
8.    Pasay (portions)
9.    Paranaque (portions)
