Philippine weather bureau posted on its site as of 5:00 p.m. this Saturday, "the Active Low Pressure Area (ALPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,020 km East of Central Luzon." And according to PAGASA, new ALPA is now inside Philippine Area of Responsibility.

PAGASA said once the ALPA entered PAR and intensifies into a tropical cyclone, it will be called Bagyong Helen.

And still, Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) is affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

Meanwhile, DOST-PAGASA Rainfall Warning Signal (RWS) as of 1:00 a.m, 11 August 2012, posted as TERMINATED.
