The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said, "Metro Manila experienced last Monday the hotter temperature so far this year."

PAGASA forecaster Fernando Cada said, "Kahapon nakapagtala tayo ng 35 degrees (Celsius) sa area ng Quezon City. Sa may istasyon natin sa NAIA sa Pasay City, nakapagtala tayo ng 35.7 degrees Celsius."

But the hottest temperature ever recorded in the country was in Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija.

According to PAGASA, Cabanatuan City in Nueva Ecija recorded the temperature at 37.2 degrees Celsius.

On the other hand, at Clark Field in Pampanga recorded the highest temperature so far this year at 38.4 degrees Celsius.
