This is really unfair! and it must be stop before it ends up to a big trouble. Last Wednesday, April 25, 2012, The Department of Budget and Management DBM official website was hacked by alleged Chinese hackers.

Budget Secretary Florencio Abad Jr. said in a statement, that the website was defaced at around 2:00 p.m. As of posting time, the website using its old design was up and running.

Budget Secretary assured to the public that all data inside the website was safe and remain intact.

Abad Jr. said, “Our initial findings indicate that all important data in the website remain intact. We are at present conducting a security audit on the site, which will remain offline until the audit has been completed and the necessary repairs are made. In addition, we have yet to establish the true identities of the parties or individuals responsible for the attack.”

This incident is the latest in a series of hacking incidents regarding to the China-Philippines standoff over Scarborough Shoal Island.
