Rachel Weisz and cast of "The Bourne Legacy amazed in Palawan

The Hollywood actress Rachel Weisz was amazed during her stay in El Nido, Palawan as part of her film shooting of “The Bourne Legacy.” She said, “I can live in Palawan forever!”

That was according to Jun Juban of the Philippine Film Studios Inc. He also said, “The contingent, including the cast who visited the island, has been very expressive with their awe and amazement.”

And according to him, “The Bourne Legacy” movie will help to boost the tourism in the country in some way.

He said, “There are close to 200 staff, crew and actors involved in this film. This means 10,000 hotel room nights spread in two major hotels in Manila. This definitely exceeded initial projections.”

Meanwhile, local producers, Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr., the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the departments of the Interior and Local Government, Finance and Tourism and local officials of the cities of Manila, Pasay, Navotas, Quezon and Marikina where scenes of the film were shot are very thankful to the government for its support.
