President Duterte allows independent agencies probe son Paolo, Mans Carpio

Just not to taint any malicious thinking in his son and son-in-law's case, President Rodrigo Duterte is allowing independent agencies to investigate the accusations thrown at Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte and lawyer Manases Carpio.

After detained Senator De Lima made a statement urging the President to start investigating his own household for possible 'real' drug lords.

De Lima said, “He should go after the real drug lords. In order to do this, Mr. Duterte does not even have to go that far. Apparently, the drug smugglers are living right inside his own household.”

With this, President Duterte has yet again prove his confidence in the matter, that his even willing to let independent agencies to investigate his son and son-in-law for he knows the two very well.

President Duterte answered it briefly, “Who would believe if I investigate my son and my son-in-law? Ikaw? Can you investigate your mother and father? I leave it to the independent agencies."

In his arrival at Davao City from an official visit to Japan, President Duterte recapitulate his first statement that if his son is really involve in drugs he will let the police kill him.

He said, "If they are really guilty, then so be it. ‘Di ba sinabi ko na sa inyo noong mayor ako? Anong order ko sa pulis? 'Barilin ninyo maski anak ko.' At that statement remains. Barilin mo,"

"Pag naggamit ng droga o nakahawak ng droga, barilin mo. Extrajudicial killing, if you want. And I can understand,"Pres. Duterte added.

After Senator Antonio Trillanes IV linked Paolo Duterte to the Chinese triad and a P6.4-billion shabu shipment from China, a Senate blue ribbon committee investigation drafted report posted last month, Mayor Duterte and Lawyer Carpio is cleared in any involvement in any contraband or even smuggling of drugs into the country.
