President Duterte - No stopping until last drug lord put in jail

As expected, the fight against drugs has been one the big topic of our President had talked about on his speech today at the opening of the congress. He remained firm on his campaign of getting rid of all the drug lords/pushers whatever may the consequences be.

The president in his speech which got loud bang in the crowd said, "There will be no let up in this campaign. Double your efforts, triple them if need be. We will not stop until the last drug lord, last financer and last pusher have surrendered or put behind bars or below the ground if they so wish."

According to the statistics from GMANetwork.com since July 1st this year, there are already 3,213 drug personalities arrested nationwide with 239 drug suspects killed while in the police operation. There were also 112,902 drug users and, 7,107 pushers who have surrendered voluntarily.

Even with the cases of alleged extrajudicial and summary killing, PDuterte still encourages the PNP to their job and he will with them all the way.

He said, "Abuse your authority and there will be hell to pay for you will become worse than criminality itself," and added, "In  this quest, I will put at stake my honor, my life and the presidency itself."

President Duterte also reiterated, "I repeat. Do not do drugs because you will be the solution to the drug crisis that has engulfed the nation."
